How Do You Design Games for the Blind?

I want to highlight an interesting session that was added just recently to the Austin GDC lineup, in the Audio Track: When Audio IS the Experience: Games for the Visually Impaired, a co-lecture by Michelle Hinn and Richard Van Tol, with some samples of games created by members of the IGDA Game Accessibility Sig.

When creating games developers don't necessarily think about the accessibility of the game. What if the player can't control or experience a game the way the designers intend? What are some ways to think about design to broaden game experience across more senses, or to bring it to people who haven't been able to play before?

Anyway, this session promises to be very interesting! I'm looking forward to it...
