Book Reports and Poster Sessions

Hey, folks.

One of the hot topics in the discussion of game writing is where will the next generation of game writers come from? It's a good question, and it opens up whole areas of discussion about training, qualifications, apprenticeships to the role and other issues.
It's been on the mind of the Advisory Board as well, and out of that conversation came something a little new we'll be trying at the conference this year - presentations on and about game writing by gamedev students. First up is Erik Osaben, whose poster session on the narrative construction of Silent Hill 2 contains some excellent work.
Be sure to check out Erik's work - and more - at the show!
